We talk about the fact that Trinity Electrical & Radon Mitigation Services is licensed, bonded & insured a lot. It may not always be clear as to why we tout it though. Plain and simple, we’re proud of this fact. We hold several professional licenses, including a Radon Mitigation license.
Our Radon Mitigation professional, Josiah, worked hard to earn his professional license. The state of Illinois does not just hand them out to anyone. In order to even apply for the licensing test, our Radon Mitigator had to take a radon education course through the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). The three part course consisted of classroom education, as well as field training & a written exam.
Only after successful completion of each portion of this training was he awarded the certificate that allowed him to take the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) licensing test. Even after passing the licensing exam, our Radon Mitigation expert still had work to do before he would be awarded his professional Radon license. He had to implement an approved Quality Assurance Program, and submit it to IEMA before he was officially licensed.
Becoming a licensed Radon Mitigation professional is not something that happens overnight. Not only does Josiah have the proper training, but the experience to back his work up. Trinity Electrical & Radon Mitigation Services is proud to employ such a highly trained & experienced professional.
Are you surprised at Illinois’ thorough Radon licensing process?
